What is Pop Culture?
Pop culture is about the different ideas, attitudes and perspectives of trends. It has to be commonly liked or approved and is changes with time. It is also heavily influenced by the mass media. It is separate to 3 different section in it, Fads & Fashion, Pop music and advertising images & identity.
Who create the Pop culture?
I separate it all into the media, teens, influential people. To find out who really create Pop culture.
In media (commercials, movies, newspapers, etc.) are telling us all the time what to think, buy and do. The media makes you aware of its new product so that you will go buy it. The media tries its best to make that product look "cool" so that we'll want to get it.
In teens ( teenagers or young adult), they are most often the type of people who will quickly and easily buy into fads. However, if we didn't approve of these fads then they would quickly and most certainly die out. Because of our approval and our input into the pop culture scene it is in fact us who finally create pop culture. Why will I say that is because when an new CD is come out or a new artists come out, it is us who will support them.
In influential people (celebrities), can be defined as someone who exercises influence or power, such as today's hottest actors and musical stars. These people create pop culture by starting fashion trends, putting out catchy songs and getting us addicted to their television shows and movies. Pop culture is what is popular and celebrities play a key role in popularity. Everyone has their favorite model, actor, or musical star. Someone who is attractive or talented or outstanding at what they do.
After thinking through with this research, I found out that actually is all this that created pop culture. Because without any of this factors there will be no pop culture. Therefore I believe is everything around us together created pop culture.
