I would to portray the imperfect perfect.

In the process towards failure, never want to know the negative side of everything. Showing decaying of food and thus becoming inedible, and as such symbols is like impending death. And showing daily food items, will make the audience to remember the message more.

why the process?

Because people tend to think the good and perfect side not wanting to know the ugly truth and we should take a closer look to it than avoiding the problem.
